An attempt at painting Fei from Xenogears, one of my favorite games ever heh

Once again, lineart is crappy but i hope the colorings ok. And i was also thinking of putting Id somewhere behind him and trying to make it look all dramatic and whatnot but that would have taken way too long and i would have most likely hurt myself thinking too hard on how to do it hehe

Took about 2 hours on photoshop

wow.. violet shadows on skin and brown outlines ^_^
the overall composition is refreshing since you positioned this character
off-center
i like the way you treated his shirt. good contrast.

white bg looks malayo-genic naman so i dunno if you'd still want a bg for this..

I like the style you took on doing this pic, a nice change from the norm. Beautifully done and overall just very pleasing in both the simplicity and cleanness. I think to add more to it would detract too much from what you are bringing across. You've conveyed Fei in a refreshingly wonderful way, both in the style and the mood.
